Los Angeles is filled with mani/pedi devotees, women who consider keeping their nails perfectly painted a responsibility more than a luxury. Because of this devotion, you can find a nail salon on almost every corner in the city. These mom and pop shops opened up and all competed for business, lowering their prices down to less than it would cost for a salad at lunch.
This insurgence of nail salons led to some scratching their head and wondering, “are all nail salons created equal?” The answer was no, and thanks to this 2015 New York Times article, the question was answered. Picking a place to paint your nails required more thought than just choosing based on location and price.
In came Bellacures, a Salon for Hands and Feet, which opened it’s doors in 2006. Bellacures was way ahead of the trend, and has always stuck to their mission, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and fair legal wages for manicurists.
When you walk into any of the 8 Bellacures locations, you know you’re in for a real treat. It no longer becomes a responsibility to get your nails done, but a luxury to get to be pampered at Bellacures.
Each Bellacures location features incredible customer service, a wide selection of high quality polish, plush chairs, an extensive menu of unique services (think CBD manicures and crystal pedicures,) and even complimentary champagne, water, coffee, and tea.
My favorite thing about my weekly mani/pedi appointment at Bellacures is the feeling of looking forward to relaxing and being pampered in a clean, quiet, and professional atmosphere. And of course, the fact that my Bellacures mani/pedi always last forever.
