Looking through some old photos, as I have entered my birthday month which is October, I realised that this year will mark a decade of my tradition to celebrate my birthday around the world. It all started back in 2005 when I took my trip to London, to visit my best friend Agra who was studying there at the moment. She had organised my Birthday party at her house and we had a few of our high school friends attend as most were still in College those days, studying in London. This is when I got the birthday travel bug, a tradition that for personal reasons, I keep very close to my heart.
For my 23rd Birthday I travelled to Paris and to Disneyland. We first spent three days at Disneyland Paris and then in the City.
For my 25th Birthday Celebration I returned to London with my bestie Agra. We arrived on the night of my birthday. Sora and Panos had arranged a birthday cake for me.
I celebrated my 26th Birthday in the city of my dreams, New York! It was the trip of my life!
For my 27th Birthday I travelled to Istanbul with my friend M. It was a great weekend! Istanbul is such a vibrant city and a perfect weekend getaway destination.
For our 28th Birthday my bestie Helen and I travelled to Berlin. It was our first time in Germany and it turns out that there is lots to do in Berlin. Weather you are into arts and music, flea markets, nightlife and museums, Berlin is your city.
I celebrated my 29th birthday in Athens. My best friend Agra made me this awesome Chanel cake that was just beautiful!
I have always dreamt of celebrating my 30th birthday in New York, and that dream became a reality. This time we spent four days in New York and then headed to Miami.
My 31st birthday was celebrated in Athens, as TBEX was taking place in Greece and it was also an opportunity to celebrate with my friends the launch of my new project Passion for Greece.
Memories are precious and the people who have shared these memories with me during all these years are even more special. Thank you for being in my life, you know who you are! My 32nd Birthday is just around the corner and I am excited for all the new adventures. Live the life you love, love the life you live!
