Chrissy Teigen has never been afraid to open up about her experiences with plastic surgery!
Over the years, the Cravings author has talked about going under the knife a handful of times. “I’m getting my boobs out! They’ve been great to me for many years, but I’m just over it,” Chrissy, who shares children Luna and Miles with husband John Legend, captioned a May 2020 Instagram post.
“I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So, don’t worry about me!” she assured fans. “All good. I’ll still have boobs; they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place: a dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
In January 2018, Chrissy was forced to address plastic surgery speculation after sharing a throwback photo of herself and John from the 2008 Grammy Awards. “Wow so stunning here!!” one fan commented at the time. “Before the boobies and fillers, so natural and stunning. You both still look great.”
Unsurprisingly, that didn’t sit well with Chrissy. “Boobies and fillers? F–k off with your backhanded s–t,” the Utah native replied. “[Two] babies and 10 years. Bye, b.” Of course, that was hardly the first time Chrissy had to defend herself. Although, sometimes it’s her own jokes getting her into trouble.
“Maybe nine years ago, [I had] my armpit sucked out which was one of the best things I’ve done. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care. It added two inches to my arms. It made me feel better in strapless dresses, and I felt more confident,” Chrissy told Allure magazine in May 2017. “Everything else is fake, but my cheeks are real. Women are like, ‘Those fake-ass cheeks,’ and I’m like, ‘No! This is my real face.’ I’m very open with all that other s–t.”
Chrissy later clarified on Twitter that she was, in fact, messing around. “Reminder to never ever joke, ever (I did do the armpits, no regrets except it clearly came back),” she wrote. “You think I’d have this ass if I’d done extensive work? Like who would ask for this ass?”
