Virgil Abloh has been keeping busy lately, and following his latest Off-White™ “the 50” collaboration with Nike, the label is now continuing its exploration into homeware by teaming up with Ginori 1735.
The capsule collection is limited edition and features a selection of homeware ranging from teapots to plates and cups. Announced by Abloh himself on Instagram, the designer shared a handful of iPhone photos documenting the collaboration process, revealing that he “bailed on the gold last minute.” Originally, some of the pieces were designed with a gold rim, but Abloh wrote that “it wasn’t needed for this phase.”

The collaboration combines Off-White™’s signature contemporary streetwear aesthetic with Ginori 1735’s traditional elements and top-of-the-line design, creating a full set of tableware including dinner plates, serving platters, teapot, and teacup and saucer set. Each piece is designed with a white base, contrasted with a graffiti-inspired Off-White™ logo in black.

The Off-White™ x Ginori 1735 “for HOME” collection will be available starting September 4, and can be purchased online at the Off-White™ website, at select retail stores, online at Ginori 1735, as well as at Farfetch.
Additionally, during Milan Design Week 2021, Off-White™’s Milan store will be transformed into an immersive “HOME” environment, where each of the objects will be displayed, and will also feature pieces from multiple categories. The exhibition will run from September 4 through September 12.
