Most Coveted: Sergio Rossi, Chanel, Comme des Garçons Play and More

When it comes to luxury, you can rest assured that Prestige has it covered. But with the sheer multitude, let alone variety, released regularly on the landscape, it can become rather difficult to figure out the best from the rest or to even pick up the newest and most exciting. As luck would have it, our editors are forever on the look out: discovering on-the-rise labels, picking up new products from cult brands and the finding the most desirable items there are. So for those that are curious what that might be, keep scrolling to discover what made the cut in our weekly Most Coveted list.

It’s been exactly 100 years since Gabrielle Chanel first introduced the quilting expression – the emblematic textural trademark of the brand. From collars and cuffs to handbags and even makeup packaging, the stitching design has become iconic. In its most recent launch of the high jewellery collection, Coco Rush, the tweed-like patchwork makes its way on more delicate pieces. In particular, the slimmer rings that are equally stylish worn individually or stacked. Chinese model Xiao Wen Ju has a way of presenting the collection in varying sizes, materials and finishes to have me lust over the line. — Dara Chau (DC), Digital Editor

Driven by sustainability, Pangaia is the minimalist clothing brand that is on a mission to save the environment. The clothes are created with innovative technology and bio-engineered materials. For example, the hoodie and track pant collection uses non-toxic natural dyes made from food waste, fruits, vegetables and plants; the cotton is free from harmful and toxic pesticides; and the material is developed using post-consumer recycled elements and plastic bottles. This cosy, dusty purple hoodie gets its colour from the roots and rhizomes of the flowering plant Rubia cordifolia and ensures that I look good and feel good while I lounge in my stay-at-home attire. —

If you read my featured list of luxury candles, you’ll know that I am all for creating a tranquil space at home. So much so, that I am constantly on the look out for the right home accessories to do that. One additional item I must mention is contemporary and natural fragrances brand, Auli, from my hometown in London. Handcrafted from raw materials, the wax candles smell fantastic. My favourite has to be C-34/2, a beautifully blooming scent that walks you through pine forests and wild fields of marigold before you’re grounded with soothing woody aromas. Thankfully, the brand are also looking to hit Hong Kong’s high-end retailers in the near future too. — FC

With all gyms currently closed, it’s hard to stay motivated at home and continue my workout regime. That’s why I need the Forme Fitness Mirror in my life. The incredibly clever, smart mirror is equipped with speakers, microphones, and a camera, as well as aluminium arms that can be adjusted to perform a variety of push-pull exercises. There are also various training programs available which will help evaluate your posture, adjust the weight levels and cater the right workouts for you. — Austin Miao (AM), Social Media Manager

While there are many things to miss while becoming more domesticated, coming in first place is a cup of latte. If smelling the coffee is a literal wake up call, half the battles of the day are considered conquered. The new Nespresso coffee maker is the new innovative milk solution machine that can brew six milk-based beverages including cappuccinos, latte macchiatos, flat whites, caffe lattes, hot milk, and hot milk foam. Using whole milk or plant-based dairy alternatives, I can get my caffeine fix to start the day or indulge in a midday pick-me-up without stepping outside at all. — DC

For me, rings have reigned supreme as the accessory of choice. Wearing a ring is a statement piece and it helps to add a pop of extra detail to my daily outfits. In collaboration with Daniel Arsham and Yoon Ahn of Ambush, Dior has just unveiled its latest SS20 accessories collection designed by Kim Jones. The collection features necklaces, keychains, broaches and more. For me, the piece that stood out was the grey Dior oblique ruthenium-finish ring. As the name states, the ring is engraved with the iconic Dior oblique print on the exterior and provides the statement I’ve been looking for. The collection is now available to purchase online at Dior’s website and at your local Dior store. — AM

It is with great sadness that we received the late Italian shoe designer Sergio Rossi’s news. Renowned for his creativity and craftsmanship, Rossi remained an icon of femininity and elegance to this day and will definitely continue. To celebrate that fact, I have selected these stunning crystal-embellished sandals as my most coveted. The handcrafted stiletto heeled shoes are made from black faille and slim straps, finished with delicate suede ankle ties. — FC

I’m always seeking a pop of colour to add to my sneaker collection and these new shoes will do just that. Converse and Comme des Garçon Play have linked up for new iterations of their Chuck 70 High and Ox sneakers. I’m not the type of guy to shy away from wearing pink, so for me, the bold pastel pink colourway will be the one I’d pick up. The shoe sees Comme des Garçon’s heart logo in red and Converse branding hits the medial side of the high top. — AM
