Palace Skateboards has a knack for making us feel like it’s the early 2000s all over again – and the second drop of the Palace Evisu collaboration is no different.
Founded in 1991, Evisu is considered one of the global faces of denim. Characterized by its instantly recognizable, hand-painted “seagull” motif, you’d be hard-pressed visiting any local British market in the early-mid 2000s without seeing a sea of fake Evisu jeans. For that, you can thank the Moschino-clad ravers of the 90s.
In the same way Evisu is synonymous with the rave and skate scenes of the last two decades, Palace has risen as the subcultural uniform of the next generation. Celebrating this cross-cultural connection and a symbolic passing of the torch, Palace Evisu connects both brands with icons of the British music scene.

While the first collaborative drop between the brands in 2020 tapped legendary London jungle artist and SASASAS frontman MC Skibdee, the second iteration puts a cross-generational lineup of Pa Salieu, Joy Orbison, and Ray Keith center stage.
The collaboration once again focalizes Evisu’s iconic motif, dressing it in a multitude of colors akin to its multi-logo denim of old. This time around, more risks are being taken, offering up bold pieces such as a reversible souvenir jacket, multi-logo tracksuit, and a selection of denim pieces.
In celebration of the upcoming release, Palace has created a spiritual sequel to the first Palace Evisu short film, featuring pro skateboarders Benny Fairfax and Rory Milanes alongside the musicians.
