Pinterest launches STORY PINS and everyone really talks about it, but only a few, they have understood what they are and how to create them.
I was lucky enough to have been one of the first to be able to preview this new feature of Pinterest that will soon be available also for most of you and today I want to tell you why I totally fell in love with Story Pins.
I have always loved Pinterest, creating my moodboards but above all I have always searched on this social network for my fashion inspirations or the right quotes for every occasion, the trends of the moment and the places to visit. That is why, when I was offered to become a Pinterest Ambassador, I could not say no.
Pinterest launches Story Pins and imagination and creativity are unleashed! Now I’ll explain what they are and how to create them in a few simple steps.
We are used to thinking of a “Story” as something fleeting, visible for up to 24 hours and for example with random content of a particular time of our day.
Story Pins, on the other hand, work totally differently.
Story Pins are long-lasting, downloadable contents that appear as pins and can then be discovered and displayed over a longer time. Story Pins tell us something interesting, harnessing the power of images, videos and text.
In fact, you can record multiple videos, add images, customize text, or create lists in a single Story Pin.
Pinterest is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, and Story Pins complement this fantastic project.
Here are some ideas on how to use Story Pins:
- create a step-by-step guide, project, or recipe
- uploading short multiple videos to create a story
- customize colors and fonts to create an inspirational story
- add lists of things or ingredients
- tell a journey, an experience, a step-by-step tutorial
