For all car lovers, the much-awaited Skoda Kodiaq Facelift is here in India and is available at a starting price of Rs 34.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Skoda Kodiaq SUV has made a comeback in India after a long period of two years. While the new 2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift was globally unveiled in April 2021, it came to India in 2022 and the market is taking it into all good spirit.
The new version is available in three levels, which are – Style, Sportline, and Laurin & Klement. Kodiaq Style is priced at Rs 34.99 lakh, Kodiaq Sportline at Rs 35.99 lakh, and Kodiaq Laurin & Klement at Rs 37.49 lakh.
In terms of looks, the Skoda Kodiaq facelift has a signature-style butterfly grille, Crystalline LED headlights with LED DRLs, new fog lamps, 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, LED taillights, a new bumper, SKODA lettering on the tailgate, and more.
As far as interiors are concerned, the cabin has got a fresh makeover with a new two-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, an updated 9.2-inch infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, along with optional massage seats (much-needed). The SUV is equipped with advanced safety features like 9-airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Mechanical Brake Assist (MBA) with Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), and more.
As per the report, the facelifted Skoda Kodiaq SUV will be a petrol-only model, unlike the previous model that was powered by a 148 bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine.
Also, it is likely to borrow the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine from the Superb and Octavia sedans. The motor is tuned to 187 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic unit.
